   Seeing the photos of Kalk Bay has made me realy homesick. Havent been back to the Cape for 15yrs and really miss the stormy weather!

   Aah… memories of Easter, 1993! As I’m currently in Dublin, can anyone tell me if there were a lot of fishing vessels damaged in Kalk Bay harbour? Hopefully they had good warning time and managed to take precautions? Back in ‘93 there was quite serious damage to the fishermen’s boats.

   Hi Richard,

   Sea going vessels where not aloud to leave port during this period.

   From what I saw none where damaged, the pier kept the waves out, is was quite strange though mad all around the harbor but in the harbor is was still.
