Me thinks that every pro – photographer in Cape Town was here in Kalk Bay – the funny thing was that I had the only Pentax, it honestly looked like Canon had a convention in town – lol.
I do fear that I had the small penis syndrome though, I had the smallest lens by far and it was rather embarrassing – lol.

This photograph was taken from St. James – note that the wave is almost as high as the pylons for the trains. This is what it normally looks like – St. James

And finally to give you an idea of how powerful these waves where, here is a table (+- 1.5 metres long) sitting +- 4 to 5 metres above the ocean after having been put there by those monster waves.
